Haley is a Kwakwaka’wakw woman and member of the ‘Namgis First Nation, raised in Alert Bay (‘Yalis) on the traditional territory of the Kwakwaka’wakw people. Now residing on the south end of Vancouver Island, she is grateful to live and work on the territories of the T’Sou-ke, Lekwungen, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
She brings nearly a decade of experience in the film and television industry, where she worked as an Assistant Director supporting large and fast-paced productions. In these roles, she built her skills in leadership, team coordination, and communication—housing trust, uplifting collaboration, and holding accountability across diverse teams and work environments.
Haley studied Psychology and Criminology at Simon Fraser University and completed an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice at Camosun College.
Grounding herself by spending quality time with her daughter in their territory, Haley also enjoys surrounding herself with friends and family when able, she also loves to spend time practicing Kwak’wala, and she enjoys networking and creating opportunities to bring people together in ways that are relational, collaborative, and grounding.
