Cecilia Federizon

Cecilia is a daughter of Filipino immigrant settlers living in the traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies, focusing on Filipinx diasporic spirituality. Guided by her Filipinx community’s teachings, Cecilia centers her work on relationality, emphasizing that in Filipino culture, your responsibility is not only to yourself, but to others as well. In this spirit, she grounds her work in community and collaboration, believing these values are essential for building trust in working relationships.
