The Table Is Being Set — Here’s a Taste of the Upcoming Fall Feast
At its heart, feasting in Indigenous communities is a form of governance and relational accountability. It’s not just about talking about the change we want, but actually setting the table and building what nourishes the future, side by side. That’s what this Fall Feast is all about: shared work, nourishment, and accountability.
We will share an abundance of insights The Circle has gathered while creating space to honour where you’re craving connection, shared learning, and celebration. We want to hear about the ways you want to work and make an impact together.
This Feast isn’t about showing up to consume the goods. Relational accountability requires each of us to do the work and be active changemakers alongside one another through a series of virtual sessions, a team co-working day, and our final day together, which will focus on the change and transformation our sector needs in the years ahead.
Why This Fall Feast Is Different
Those who have attended previous Fall Feasts have contributed to the generative spirit that gave rise to the Wellness Bundle, critical commitments to language work, decolonizing equity, and intergenerational wealth frameworks. Be part of this next evolution of practice and transformation.
We have designed a multi-day convening filled with opportunities to be inspired toward action, creating a nourishing contribution to the sector’s ways of thinking and doing alongside Indigenous peoples. These energizing co-working sessions are built around your capacity and feature exciting baskets and bundles of ingredients brought forward by The Circle, designed to redistribute wealth, power, and infrastructure in service to Indigenous peoples.
Relational accountability is central to this Feasting work. Here’s the commitment we’re inviting from participants:
- Two half-days with the full cohort
- One internally held co-working day, scheduled by your own team, fully scaffolded and supported by a workbook and reflection materials provided by The Circle
- Full engagement in a closing day to share back, witness, celebrate, and name our commitments for carrying the work forward
Your presence is not just welcome—it is an essential ingredient.

What We’re Sharing Between Registration and the Gathering
Registration for the Fall Feast opens August 4, but signing up is just the beginning.
Before you arrive in November, your team will receive a welcome package and a getting-to-know-you form that will help The Circle curate a bundle drawn from the work and abundance of the past several years of programming. This is an invitation to go deeper and arrive at the Feast already oriented and ready.
For those with small teams or family offices who would like to join a larger team for learning and connection, we’re happy to make those connections and ensure you also have a rich team experience—just let us know during registration.
Identify where your team has the most energy and alignment to go deeper by choosing one of the following streams:
- Honouring relational integrity, connection, and Indigenous peoples’ time, wisdom, and gifts
- Insights and learnings on practices and policies that are enabling the redistribution of wealth to Indigenous-led work
- Seeing pathways for increasing land access and advancing Land Back
Below is a sneak preview of some of that content. Wherever you’re starting from, there’s a path for you—whether you’re new to The Circle, have been with us for a while, or are a long-time partner blazing trails for others to follow.
A Little Taste….
Restorying Philanthropy
Values don’t just get talked about—they get lived. From teachings on wealth as something meant to be shared to reminders of reciprocity in all we give and receive, Day 1 of the Fall Feast will highlight the work of Restorying Philanthropy through a conversation with Nuu-chah-nulth Knowledge Holders. Here’s just a glimpse of one of the beautiful graphic recordings we’ll be sharing.
I4DM Survey Learnings
We’ll share what we’ve heard through the initial I4DM survey responses. Together, we’ll reflect—individually and collectively—on where and how the I4DM has shifted funding, governance, and partnership practices within member organizations.
Even in these early stages, we’ve been delighted by the shifts in grantmaking already underway and excited to share how the framework is showing up in spaces beyond grantmaking. We’ll also work together to ensure The Circle can continue supporting you in using the I4DM and sharing what you’re learning each year.
Land Back Toolkit
Land Back initiatives in Canada and around the world are complex and carry many layers of labour. The Circle aims to create visible pathways for Nations to engage in Land Back from a position of power while navigating complex jurisdictional realities. Our goal is to offer key questions and creative practices that support both Indigenous and settler communities in engaging meaningfully in land access and Land Back opportunities alongside one another.
At the Feast, explore with us how organizations can advocate for, engage with, and support Land Back efforts that extend beyond the transfer of land alone.
Come hungry. Come ready. Let’s feast.
Registration opens on Tuesday AUGUST 4, 2026
