Rebecca Jules

Rebecca Jules is a Secwépemc mama, adventurer and advocate. In her role as Manager, Shared Learning and Knowledge Creation, Rebecca is responsible for providing inspired shared learning opportunities and creating knowledge mobilization tools for members, partners, and the sector. Her focus is on re-orienting philanthropic research and learning towards Indigenous wisdom related to wealth redistribution, ethical stewardship, data governance, and the values of generosity, and reciprocity. 

Rebecca’s work is rooted in a commitment to upholding Indigenous sovereignty and governance while fostering economic, policy and capacity development. She believes in cultivating open, inclusive, and engaging relationships emphasizing reciprocal learning.

She has a keen interest in data sovereignty, land and food systems, culture and language. With over 20 years of experience in community engagement, project management, policy development, Indigenous research, and facilitation, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the Johnson-Shoyoma School of Public Policy and an Honours Degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
