Partners in Reciprocity

Partners in Reciprocity (PiR) was built out of Indigenous feedback about the skill sets and capacities needed in the settler philanthropic sector so that Indigenous members and communities will have a better experience, better relationships and collaboration with settler philanthropy and experience less harm. Over several years of listening leading up to PiR we heard loud and clear from our Indigenous members that, “there is work that settler philanthropy needs to do and if that is a role The Circle can play, please do that”. The Circle has taken up that work with deep commitment and accountability knowing we have a unique legitimacy, responsibility and opportunity to create a container for speaking into that space that others don’t have while putting forward the desires of our Indigenous members to create bold and beautiful invitations to the sector to step in and step up to build its capacity.

Is PiR For You?

The clear vision for PiR 2024 is for Alumni only, with two consistent participants throughout all of the in person and online sessions. The call for consistent participants throughout is so that we can truly live into the core purpose of deepening with alumni only to acknowledge the care and relationship that is established into the space already.

Program Cost

PiR is included in The Circle’s membership. Unsure of your membership status? You can check here.

For Non-Members, the PiR offering costs $3500 CAD.

Travel costs and accommodations for in-person gatherings must be covered by participants.
